As co-founder of the Life of Philosophy podcast I take the responsibility of presenting a basically accurate and hopefully entertaining show for our audience. For better or for worse, that is about all that I take seriously. I have made a hobby of studying philosophy and metaphysics for about fifteen years and am very far from being an expert. I have a mild case of self-diagnosed Asperger's and a gigantic love of all art that provides a means of understanding ourselves and our world a little better.
I'm Patrick (Pat), and I first discovered philosophy when I was eighteen, thought I knew everything by the time I was 21, and discovered how disconnected from the real I am by the time I discovered Derrida and Zizek. I read voraciously, have a bachelor's degree in theological studies with a focus on philosophy and religion, and enjoy being a theological and philosophical gadfly. My job is to provide random rabbit trails in our discussions while Jared steers us back on track.
